Open Access and Licensing

University Scientific Notes operates under an open access model, ensuring free and unrestricted access to all published content.

All articles are made freely available on the journal’s official website immediately upon publication and may be used in accordance with the applicable licensing terms.

The version published on the journal’s website is considered the official version of record.

Open access model

The journal follows a diamond open access model, which means that:

  • no fees are charged for submission, peer review, or publication;
  • no fees are required to access published articles;
  • full-text content is freely available to all users.

The journal does not apply any embargo periods to published content.

The journal supports the principles of open science and promotes the wide dissemination of research results.

Licensing

All content published in the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

The license granted is irrevocable, provided that the terms are met.

Under this license, users are permitted to:

  • share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format);

    without the need to obtain additional permission;

provided that they:

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their work.

Authors warrant that the submitted work does not infringe the rights of third parties and that all necessary permissions for the use of materials have been obtained.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to:

  • publish the work;
  • distribute it in electronic and other formats;
  • include it in databases, repositories, and indexing systems.

Authors are free to use, distribute, and reproduce their published work, provided that proper citation of the original publication in the journal is given.

Archiving and dissemination
