The journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and responsibility in scholarly publishing.
The editorial policy is developed in accordance with internationally recognised standards and recommendations, including:
- Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) — about publication ethics, conflict of interest management, handling of misconduct, and retraction procedures;
- San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) — promoting responsible research assessment and discouraging the misuse of formal metrics;
- Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) — ensuring open access to scholarly research;
- Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) — promoting transparency, openness, and quality in academic publishing.
Core Principles
In its activities, the journal ensures:
- independence of editorial decisions;
- objectivity and impartiality of the peer review process;
- transparency of submission, review, and publication procedures;
- prevention of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and duplicate publication;
- proper management of conflicts of interest;
- responsible authorship and clear attribution of contributions;
- openness and accessibility of research results.
Implementation of Standards
The editorial board:
- follows COPE guidelines in addressing publication ethics issues;
- ensures that peer review procedures comply with internationally recognized standards;
- does not rely solely on formal bibliometric indicators when assessing the quality of research;
- promotes integration into the international academic community through adherence to open science principles.
